Quick Application Instructions

Title

PREPARATION

Start with a clean, smooth surface free of dust and oils. Clean the surface if necessary.

PEEL & POSITION

Begin peeling the backing liner away from the transfer at a corner. Once free, carefully align the center of the transfer at the location you want it to adhere to and lightly place it down evenly just like a sticker.

APPLY

Starting from the center begin to press the design out with your fingers or a squeegee. Move outward with even pressure to ensure full contact especially around edges and fine details.

FINAL PEEL

Slowly peel away the top film at a sharp angle. If any of the design lifts, lay the film back down, apply additional pressure to the area, and peel again slowly.

CURING TIME & CARE

For best results and long-term durability, allow your UV DTF decals to fully cure for 24–48 hours after application before handwashing. This curing time helps the adhesive bond completely to the surface, ensuring maximum strength, water resistance, and longevity. After curing, gently handwash with mild soap and avoid abrasive scrubbing to maintain the vibrant finish.

The UV DTF Gang Sheets are Wonderful

The UV DTF Gang Sheets are Wonderful. This is now a standard item offered to all my clients. The images are bright colored and even the littlest details are accented. My client used her logo for glass ware applications. I tested some extras on different applications. They hold up great on coffee mugs, tumblers and coated tumblers of different colors. The only breakdown I found was I tried it on the back window of the car. It did crack but then again I am in Florida with the window/car in the hot sun all day and it lasted about 3 months before cracking. If it will survive that long against the heat it will sure last under normal applications. FYI, when doing a DTF sheet include one or two of the images on the UV sticker sheet. Apply to a coffee mug, flowerpot or glass candle holder and give as a thank you gift. You will defiantly get repeat orders, I sure do. Thank you Armor Ink for your great service and products.

What is UV DTF and how is it different from regular DTF?

UV DTF is a transfer process designed for hard surfaces such as glass, metal, plastic, acrylic, and tumblers. Unlike regular DTF transfers, which are heat pressed onto apparel and fabric, UV DTF transfers require no heat press. The design is applied directly to the surface using pressure and a strong adhesive.

What surfaces do UV DTF stickers and decals stick to?

UV DTF decals work best on clean, smooth, hard surfaces including glass, stainless steel, metal, plastic, acrylic, ceramic, coated wood, tumblers, cups, signs, and more. For the strongest bond, avoid rough, porous, oily, or heavily textured surfaces.

Are UV DTF cup wraps dishwasher safe?

We recommend hand washing UV DTF decorated drinkware for the longest-lasting results. After applying your transfer, allow it to cure for 24–48 hours before washing. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh cleaners that can damage the design.

Do I need a heat press for UV DTF transfers?

No. UV DTF transfers do not require a heat press, iron, or other heat source and act just like a sticker. Simply peel the backing, position the transfer on a clean surface, press or squeegee it firmly into place, and remove the carrier film.

How many cup wraps fit on a gang sheet?

The number of cup wraps depends on the size of your wrap and the length of your gang sheet. Our UV DTF gang sheets are 22 inches wide, allowing multiple cup and tumbler wraps to be nested efficiently. A standard 16 oz glass can wrap can typically fit about 5 wraps per linear foot, depending on the exact dimensions and spacing.
