ABOUT THIS POWDER
Same powder, straight from the distributor
This is Cowint's fine DTF adhesive powder in a 1 kg (2.2 lb) bag. It is a white hot melt TPU powder that bonds the printed ink to the garment when pressed, so the transfer stretches with the fabric instead of cracking and washes without peeling.
Fine (80 to 170 microns) is the grain most shops run every day. Enough coverage for solid prints on cotton and blends, with a soft hand and no clumping in the shaker.
It sticks only to wet ink, so excess shakes off cleanly and the film stays clear around the design. Bonds between 80 and 120°C and fully melts between 105 and 132°C, which matches any standard DTF oven or press.
OEKO-TEX certified. Works with all standard DTF films and inks, on cotton, polyester and blends. Shipped from our Kansas warehouse in 24 hours or less on business days.

How to use this powder
- PrintPrint the design on DTF film, mirrored, color first and white ink last. Powder while the ink is still wet.
- PowderCoat the wet print evenly. Pour, tilt and roll the film, or run it through the shaker.
- Shake offTap and shake off everything that is not on ink. The film should be clear around the design.
- Cure240°F (115°C) for 2 to 3 minutes, until the powder melts to an even orange-peel finish. Hover a heat press above the film or use a curing oven.
- Press285 to 300°F (140 to 150°C) for 5 to 10 seconds, medium to high pressure, then peel as the film calls for.
Cowint's published settings. Inks, films and presses vary, so run a test press on your own equipment first. Keep the bag sealed and dry between runs.

GOOD TO KNOW
Frequently asked questions
Which grade should I buy?
Fine (P8-8) is the safe everyday choice. Go super fine (P1) for small text, thin lines and the softest feel. Go medium (P8-8H) for dark, thick or textured fabrics and for hand powdering. All three cure and press the same way.
Does this powder work with hot peel and instant peel film?
Yes. All three grades work with every Cowint film, hot peel and instant peel, and with other standard DTF films.
Can I use it in an automatic shaker?
Yes. All three grades flow without clumping. Super fine runs cleanest in a shaker; medium is the easiest to hand powder.
How much does one bag cover?
It depends on coverage and grain, but a 1 kg bag typically powders several hundred feet of printed film. Shake-off that lands back in the hopper is reused.
How should I store it?
Sealed, dry and out of direct heat. Moisture is what makes powder clump, so close the bag or hopper between runs.
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually processed and shipped within 24 hours on business days, by UPS from Kansas. You will get an email with tracking as soon as it ships.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Every supplies order ships free, with no minimum.
How do large supply orders ship?
Pallet-size orders ship free by freight truck (LTL) instead of UPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days, with 2 to 5 business days in transit. Free to a business address with a loading dock or forklift; liftgate service (typically $125) or residential delivery (typically $100) is an added carrier fee that we email you to confirm before shipping. Please inspect the pallet before signing. Full freight details.
